US forces prepared to launch major attack on Iran within 96 hours of Trump's order: Report

US forces in Middle East are prepared to launch a major attack on Iran "within 96 hours of receiving" an order from President Donald Trump, two US officials told CNN. "It will be a big effort," one of the officials said. The scope of new US military operations would likely go beyond efforts to simply "mow the lawn", sources said.
