US founding father Benjamin Franklin never became US Prez

One of the founding fathers of the US, Benjamin Franklin was never elected as the country's President. However, Franklin, who was born on January 17, 1706, served several roles in the US government. He also helped draft the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Franklin is also one of the only two non-presidents who appear in US dollar bills.
