According to an internal report of the independent Congressional Research Service, the US has given Pakistan military equipment worth $5.4 billion since the 9/11 attacks, even though supplies were halted for 2 years. Nearly half of the amount spent by Pak was spent on F-16 fighter jets and related equipment. The supplies were made to help Pakistan fight its terrorists.
