US govt 'forever' bars audits into tax claims for Trump & family

US Justice ​Department "forever barred" Internal Revenue Service (IRS) ⁠from pursuing any audits into past ​tax claims for President Donald Trump, his relatives ​and his companies. The government could ​not audit Trump's tax returns filed before Monday or ‌any ⁠matters "that were raised or could have been raised", a document read. Notably, Trump has dropped a $10-billion lawsuit against IRS.
