US govt denies $885 million subsidy to Elon Musk's Starlink

Elon Musk's satellite internet service Starlink has been denied an $885.5 million subsidy by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The subsidy, meant to boost high-speed internet service in rural areas, was initially revoked from Starlink provider SpaceX in 2022 but the company had challenged the decision. Musk said the FCC's decision "doesn't make sense".
