US hires 2,000 gamers as air traffic controllers at ₹1.4 crore pay

US Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has hired more than 2,000 video gamers as air traffic controllers. The FAA launched a campaign in April encouraging gamers to apply for the role, which offers an average salary of $155,000 (₹1.4 crore) after three years. Duffy said the agency has now achieved 94% of its hiring target.
