US imposes tariffs up to 3,521% on Southeast Asian solar imports

US imposed duties up to 3,521% on solar imports from four Southeast Asian countries: Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia. It follows year-long probe in which US found solar manufacturers in these countries unfairly benefitted from government subsidies. American companies accused Chinese solar panel makers with factories in these countries of shipping panels priced below their cost of production.
