US intelligence warns China could access F-35 tech via Saudi Arabia

A confidential US intelligence assessment warned that China could gain access to sensitive American technology if Washington approves a proposed sale of up to 48 F-35 stealth fighter jets to Saudi Arabia, The New York Times reported. The report highlighted concerns over Riyadh’s growing defence ties with Beijing. The jet is one of the most advanced aircraft in US arsenal.
