US invites India to G7 meeting on critical minerals

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has said that he has invited India and other countries to join a meeting of finance ministers from the G7 advanced economies that he is hosting in Washington on Monday to discuss critical minerals. The invitation comes amid tensions between India and US over a trade deal.
