US involved in efforts to mediate India-Pak tensions, in constant contact with both countries

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Friday said that US National Security Advisor and Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been involved in efforts to mediate the India-Pakistan tensions. "President Donald Trump has expressed that he wants this to de-escalate as quickly as possible," Leavitt said. "Rubio has been in constant communication with leaders of both countries," she added.
