US-Iran war could hit Indian firms' profits by 200 bps: Report

Prolonged supply-chain disruptions due to US-Iran war could impact operating profitability of Indian companies by 200 basis points, according to Crisil Ratings. The agency found that 22 of the 34 sectors analysed could see operating profitability decline by over 10%. Firms are dealing with high fuel and freight costs, pricing pressures, and a depreciating rupee amid global crisis, it added.
