The US Treasury has issued a 60-day license waiving sanctions on Iranian oil as part of the ongoing peace talks. The license authorises the production, delivery and sale of crude oil, petrochemical products and petroleum products of Iranian-origin till August 21. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Iran has committed to free and open transit in the Strait of Hormuz.
