US journalist detained for wearing rainbow t-shirt to FIFA World Cup stadium in Qatar

American journalist Grant Wahl said he was briefly detained on Monday when he was entering a FIFA World Cup stadium in Qatar while wearing a rainbow shirt in support of the LGBTQ community. Sharing a picture, he tweeted that he was asked to change his t-shirt. "I'm OK...Am in the media center, still wearing my shirt," he later tweeted.
