US judge bars Trump administration from airing taxpayer-funded ads
A Manhattan federal judge temporarily barred Trump administration from airing political ads funded with taxpayer money. The lawsuit alleged that the ads, for which $20 million was allocated, sought to help Republican candidates in the November 3 midterm elections. White House said US President's political action committee would fund future ads but wouldn't reimburse taxpayers for past spending.
