Five explosions were heard across Iran's Qeshm Island as US launched a massive attack on the country, state media IRNA reported. An IRNA correspondent on the island reported that the explosions came in rapid succession. A US official told Reuters that the strikes were defensive measures against Iranians using surface-to-air missiles against US assets.
