US lawmaker criticises Biden's team over Adani probe, says 'Can damage ties with India'

US' Republican lawmaker Lance Gooden has called out the Biden administration's decision to probe billionaire Gautam Adani's companies in a letter to Attorney General. He called it a disruption before Donald Trump's inauguration. He added that the action risks damaging critical alliance with key partner India, "one of America's strongest allies in the Asia-Pacific region".
