US lawmakers accuse DeepSeek, Xiaomi of aiding Chinese military

US lawmakers wrote to War Secretary Pete Hegseth urging Pentagon to add a number of Chinese technology firms to a list of entities allegedly assisting Chinese military. These lawmakers asked Hegseth to place DeepSeek and Xiaomi on Section 1260H list. The list does not formally sanction Chinese firms but sends a message to suppliers about US military's opinion of firms.
