US loses 81 military aircraft, including most advanced warplanes, worth $3.3 billion in Iran war

US has lost or suffered damage to at least 81 military aircraft and drones since Iran war began, with losses estimated at nearly $3.3 billion, according to a Congressional Research Service report. The losses include some of America's most advanced warplanes like F-35A Lightning II stealth fighter, F-15 jets and MQ-9 Reaper drones. Each F-15E is worth over $30 million.
