US man sets world record for becoming first-time grandfather at age of 92

Normand Tousignant, a 96-year-old from the US has been officially recognised by Guinness World Records as the oldest first-time grandfather. He was 92 years and 24 days old when granddaughter Madison was born on September 22, 2022. He received the title during his 96th birthday celebration in August 2026, surpassing Australian Charles Smith's previous record.
