US man drinks 12 energy drinks in 10 minutes, develops acute pancreatitis

A US-based doctor, sharing a video on his YouTube channel, said that a 36-year-old man nearly died after he drank 12 energy drinks in 10 minutes. Dr Bernard Hsu said the man started experiencing heart flutters and developed acute pancreatitis, whereby his pancreas had begun 'digesting itself' due to the high levels of caffeine and sugar in the energy drinks.
