US man picks up object thinking it's glass, it turns out to be 9-carat diamond

On a visit to the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas, US, a bank manager found a 9.07-carat diamond that he thought was a piece of glass. "Anything that looked like a crystal, I picked it up," Kevin Kinard said about his search in the diamond search area. Upon assessment, Kinard was informed that the object was a diamond.
