US man sues 3 women for giving ex-wife abortion pills, seeks ₹8 cr

A man in US' Texas has sued three women under the state's 'Wrongful Death' law for allegedly supplying abortion pills to his ex-wife. The man has sought $1 million (₹8.19 crore) in damages and a prohibition blocking the women from distributing abortion pills. Separately, a South Carolina woman was recently arrested for terminating her pregnancy using abortion pills in 2021.
