US man who bought sub shop 50 years ago on ₹1-cr loan sells it for ₹67,500 cr

Billionaire Peter Cancro sold a majority of his sandwich chain Jersey Mike’s Subs to Blackstone for around $8 billion (over ₹67,500 crore). Cancro, who used to work at the sandwich shop, bought it in 1975, when he was 17 years old, with a $125,000 (₹1 crore) loan from his football coach. The company now has 3,000 outlets in US.
