US man who once sold 'trash fish' is now a billionaire
Chuck Bundrant, the founder and majority owner of Trident Seafoods, who in 1980s persuaded Americans to eat pollock at fast-food restaurants, then considered a trash fish, is now worth $1.1 billion (₹7,000 crore). Bundrant started fishing in 1961 when he was a college freshman with $80 in his pocket. Trident Seafoods now sells to chains including Costco and Safeway.
