US man who tortured, killed 21 cats jailed for 16 years

A man has been handed a 16-year jail term for torturing and killing 21 cats in the US state of California. Robert Farmer, who was charged with 21 felony counts of animal cruelty, also faced the allegation of sexually abusing a dead cat. He was also ordered to stay away from cats for 10 years after release.
