US man's drug conviction vacated after dog puts paws on his car

The conviction of a man for drug possession in US' Idaho was vacated because a police dog put its paws on his vehicle. Idaho's Supreme Court ruled that officials carried an illegal search of Kirby Dorff's car in 2019 as a result of actions of the dog, which was "trespassing". The case will now go back to a district court.
