US may limit Wall Street execs' bonuses if losses rise: Report

US banking regulators are planning a proposal to defer compensation and limit bonuses paid to Wall Street executives if their firms' losses increase, The Wall Street Journal reported. Regulators have previously tried twice to enact such rules but have failed. A prior proposal may have given companies up to seven years to claw back pay tied to misconduct.
