US' MicroStrategy now owns more bitcoin than any nation: Report

US software company MicroStrategy announced that it bought 25,250 bitcoins in January-April 2024, taking its total holding to 2.14 lakh bitcoins and making it the world's largest bitcoin holder. MicroStrategy is followed by the US, with over 2.07 lakh bitcoins, and China, with 1.94 lakh bitcoins. The firm with the second-highest bitcoin holding is Marathon Digital, with 17,631 bitcoins.
