US military is potent, Iran is a paper tiger: Ex-Pentagon official

Michael Rubin, a former Pentagon official and senior fellow at American Enterprise Institute, described US mission to rescue a downed F-15 pilot in Iran as display of American military strength. "Shows just how potent American military is...what a 'paper tiger' Iran's military is," he said. The rescue took place after Iranian forces shot down the US aircraft on April 3.
