US military used Tinder to warn people in Lebanon to "not take up arms against the United States or its partners". The warning appeared in Arabic in the form of an advertisement on the dating app and also featured pictures of American warplanes, Washington Post reported. A spokesperson for Tinder said the ads were removed as it violated its policies.
