US names Syrian rebel group Jund al-Aqsa as terrorists

The US has labelled the Syrian jihadist rebel group Jund al-Aqsa as a terrorist organisation, officials said on Tuesday. This comes after the officials held them responsible for massacring 40 civilians in 2014, and two suicide bombings in 2015. This will block all assets of al-Aqsa in the US and prevent Americans from engaging with the organisation.
