US offers to swap Russian arms dealer 'Merchant of Death' for 2 Americans: Reports

The US administration has made a "substantial offer" to bring two American detainees home from Russia, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said. Reports have suggested that US is willing to exchange Russian arms trafficker Viktor Bout, nicknamed the "Merchant of Death" by his accusers, for American basketball star Brittney Griner and former US Marine Paul Whelan.
