US passenger plane hits drone while landing at NYC airport

A commercial passenger plane belonging to JetBlue Airways hit a drone while attempting to land at New York’s JFK Airport on Monday. The pilot said the drone struck the plane above the cockpit while it was flying at an altitude of 3,000 feet. JetBlue confirmed that the flight landed safely and no damage was found on the aircraft.
