US payments company Bolt Financial scraps $1.5 bn deal to buy Wyre

Bolt Financial, the San Francisco-based online payments company, said on Friday that it has scrapped its $1.5 billion deal to buy cryptocurrency infrastructure provider Wyre Payments. Bolt Financial, however, said that it will continue its existing commercial partnership with Wyre Payments. Bolt Financial was valued at $11 billion after a funding round in January this year.
