US Pentagon reaches deal with Musk's xAI to use Grok amid dispute with Anthropic: Report

Elon Musk's xAI has signed an agreement with US Pentagon to allow the military to use its AI model Grok in classified systems, reported Axios. This comes amid Department of War's dispute with Anthropic as it summoned CEO Dario Amodei to escalate pressure to make Claude available for "all lawful purposes". Pentagon also reportedly pursuing deal with Google's Gemini.
