US plane acting as flying gas station goes missing over Qatar

A Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker, which acts as a flying gas station for US military planes, issued distress signal while flying over Persian Gulf off Iran. It took off from Al Dhafra Air Base in UAE before its signals were lost over Qatar. Flightradar24 data showed it flew in a circular pattern for a while, before beginning its descent.
