US Prez Biden appoints Sung Kim as Special Envoy for North Korea

US President Joe Biden has announced the appointment of Sung Kim as the Special Envoy for North Korea following talks with his South Korean counterpart Moon Jae-In. Sung is a career diplomat and with deep policy expertise, Biden said. He also said that his team consulted closely with Moon's team throughout the process of his Administration's review of North Korea.
