US proposes unfreezing Russia's assets after diesel deal: Report

US proposed unfreezing some of Russia's assets and moving them to a Washington-controlled fund, Financial Times reported. The report added that US special envoy Steve Witkoff made the proposal to officials from Ukraine, France, Germany, UK, European Union and NATO, but they rejected the offer. This comes after US President Donald Trump struck a deal with Russia for supplying diesel.
