US rejects aluminium tariff relief requests from Ford: Report

The US government has rejected requests for relief in aluminium tariffs from Ford Motors and other domestic automakers, the Wall Street Journal reported. Ford last week wrote to the administration seeking tariff relief until Novelis' aluminium rolling plant in New York returns to full capacity. The plant halted services after catching fire twice last year.
