US releases pic of its warship firing laser weapon

The US has released a picture of firing off a laser weapon dubbed "HELIOS" from a US Navy warship. The undated photo was published in the US Center for Countermeasures' report. "The demo was to verify, validate the functionality, performance, capability of High Energy Laser with Integrated Optical-dazzler and Surveillance (HELIOS) system against unmanned aerial vehicle target," the report said.
