US releases statement on killing of Hindu man in Bangladesh

US has condemned the lynching of Hindu man Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh. "US unequivocally condemns religious violence in all its forms," a US State Department spokesperson said while responding to a question on Das' killing and attacks on minorities in Bangladesh. "US supports religious freedom and freedoms of expression, peaceful assembly, and association," the spokesperson added.
