US reporter apologises for joke about not knowing where Bosnia is ahead of FIFA WC match

American TV reporter Abigail Velez has apologised for joking that she didn't know where Bosnia and Herzegovina is ahead of the US-Bosnia and Herzegovina FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 32 match. "I couldn't point out where it is on a map," she had said. "I apologise to the people of Bosnia and the Bosnian football team," Velez later stated.
