US restarts Green Card lottery, Indians remain ineligible
US government restarted the Diversity Immigrant Visa programme, aka Green Card lottery, and introduced stricter eligibility rules. Indian nationals remain ineligible, as it's limited to those from nations which have "equal to or fewer than 50,000 natives admitted to the US during the most recent five-year period". The new rules include submitting valid passport details, $1 entry fee, etc.
