US-Russia oil deal came after Zelenskyy ignored 6 US requests to not attack Russia: Report

US President Donald Trump's oil deal with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin came after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ignored six requests by US to stop attacking Russian oil refineries, Axios reported, citing a US official. "By continuing to hit refineries, he's eroding the goodwill that he's built with Trump," the official said. Ukraine's strikes had caused a fuel crisis in Russia.
