US' San Francisco opens first drug sobering center

US San Francisco Mayor London Breed on Thursday announced the opening of the city's first drug sobering center, saying, "The city is experiencing...substance use and mental health crisis that's sadly affecting...too many residents." "At the center, participants can receive counselling about health, housing, recovery and wellness," she added. The center will support up to 20 participants at a time.
