US sanctions 12 entities over Iranian oil trade with China ahead of Trump-Xi meet

The United States on Monday announced fresh sanctions against three individuals and nine companies across Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates and Oman, accused of helping Iran send oil to China. The sanction comes before US President Donald Trump's visit to China from May 13-15 where he is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping.
