US sanctions and COVID-19 make this year Iran's toughest: Prez

Iran is experiencing its toughest year because of US sanctions coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Sunday. "The economic pressure that began in 2018 has increased...and today it is the toughest pressure on our...country," he added. The US had reimposed sanctions on Iran after quitting the 2015 nuclear deal.
