US school cancels gay Indian-American actor's event, criticised

After a school board in US' Pennsylvania cancelled a gay Indian-American actor's event citing his "lifestyle", several parents criticised the decision while calling the school "homophobic". In an Instagram post, the actor, Maulik Pancholy, said that his presentation on anti-bullying was cancelled by an 8-0 vote. Over 6,000 people signed a petition demanding that the board reverse their decision.
