US school offers shapewear to girls to address body image issues; criticised

A US school sent a letter to parents of female students about a new program where the girls would receive "shapewear, bras, and health products" to address body image issues. Titled "Why Do Girls Suffer from Body Image?", it was shared by a mother of a Class 8 student online. The program was cancelled owing to the criticism it received.
