US SEC has no jurisdiction to summon Adani directly: Report

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has no jurisdiction over foreign nationals and cannot send anything by post to them, PTI reported. It'll have to serve a summon to Gautam Adani in the alleged $250 million bribery case through diplomatic channels. The 1965 Hague Convention and the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty between India and the US govern such matters.
